Belt PVC: |
PVC refers to the top surface material. PVC is for general purpose applications and offers high resistance to abrasion and cutting. Suitable in the presence of mineral oils, hydrocarbons, and detergents.
Available also in food FDA approved food grade.
Typical temperature operating range is -10 to 80 Deg. C. |
Belt PU (Polyurethane): |
PU refers to the top surface of the belt material. PU belting has a low coefficient of friction thus is suitable for applications where accumulation is expected. It has good wear properties and can be supplied with FDA approved food grade surface for safe contact with foodstuffs.
They have good resistance to fats and vegetable animal, and many chemical products.
Typical temperature operating range is -10 to 80 Deg. C. |
Belt Grip face:
The top surface pattern has a textured top surface giving high friction forced with unit loads.
These belts are used in inclined conveyors and allow a greater angle of inclination without slippage. |
Belt Rubber: |
There are several grades of rubber belting, and are mainly used in applications where bulk materials, or large unit loads are transported.
They offer an economic solution for long and wide conveyors. |
Belt Chevron Rubber |
Chevron rubber offers the same advantages as rubber belts, in addition to the ability of elevating bulk materials at steep angles reaching 30 to 40 degrees. |
Cleated Belts: |
Cleats are ultrasonically or hot air welded on PVC or PU belting to act as lateral profiles in elevator belts. They are mostly used with small items at increased elevation angles. |
Cleated belts with Corrugated sides
Cleats and corrugated sides are ultrasonically or hot air welded on PVC or PU belting to act as lateral profiles and side skirts respectively, in elevator belts. They are mostly used with small items or bulk goods in elevating conveyors where there should be no friction between the transported goods and the side skirts. |
Meshwire (SS or MS)
Meshwire conveyors are special steel or stainless steels meshes for applications requiring higher heat resistance of the transport material, such as in drying ovens. The mesh can ve self supported or fastened to special chains . |
