to use a conveyor bed with rollers instead of slider beds. |

| Heavy total loads can be moved without using large motors
when a roller bed belt conveyor is used. |

| The roller pitch under load depends on the transported
item size and weight. This depends on the load bearing capacity
of the rollers. Belt materials with a higher coefficient of
friction in the underside can be used for better traction, while
wear is minimized because of the rolling surface. |
